Good afternoon,
In light of what occurred yesterday, I wanted to share an invaluable resource that most parents are unfamiliar with (in case you wanted to post it to your respective websites or send it via email). Its called a child safety kit. It is a small pamphlet that contains all of the information law enforcement would need in the event of a child abduction (photo, fingerprints, identifying information, etc…) and the best part is, these kits can be ordered for free. It takes maybe 5 minutes for a parent to complete and have on hand and trust me, as someone who works in corrections, every second counts when a child is abducted. For a parent to have all of the information in one place saves lives.
